Join our discounted clinics at the 4th annual Bike Bash event at Ride Kanuga Bike Park, hosted by the Blue Ridge Dirt Skrrts.

Schedule

10:30-12:30 Intro to Jumping Great for anyone just starting to get their tires off the ground or those wanting to progress their jumping skills, this intro to jumping clinic is designed to teach you the skills needed to evaluate the size and shape of any jump and understand how to tweak your skill application based on your speed.

10:30-12:30 Intro to Drops Interested in being more intentional and confident when riding drops at the bike park or natural drops out on the trail? Join us for this intro to drops clinic to dial in your ability for different size and shape drops when approaching at different speeds

10:30-12:30 Cornering Do you get hung up, lose speed, or lose control in corners, especially berms? Maybe you’d like to figure out how to carry more exit speed? This clinic takes a deep dive into the skills needed for berms, flat corners, and even off-camber turns.

1:30-3:30 Women’s Gravity Clinic For riders wanting to tackle more difficult technical downhill terrain with more control and confidence. Let’s take your riding to the next level for tech trails!

    • This clinic is for women, woman-identifying, and non-binary individuals.

    • Check the description and specifics for each clinic to see which ones are appropriate for YOU!

  • These clinics will be led by the professional coaches of MTB Skills Factory

    • This is a small group clinic with a maximum of 6 people.

    • We’ll start with an intro to listen to your previous experience and goals, then set expectations and a plan for the clinic

    • Then, we’ll move into a skills assessment and move through the essential pre-requisite skills most likely in an open area.

    • Then we’ll take it to individual features in the skills area or on trail at Kanuga

    • We’ll aim for plenty of practice time and lots of individual feedback and analysis

  • $50 per person (heavily discounted rate for the Bike Bash Event)

  • Required for this lesson:

    • A bicycle in good working order. You can bring your own bike (regular mountain bike or eBike)

    • Helmets are required, full-face or half shell are acceptable

    • Water and food to last the duration of your lesson

    • Closed toe shoes (no sandals, flip-flops, or crocs)

    • Optional (but highly recommended) equipment:
      Knee Pads
      Gloves
