Group Skills Clinic at DuPont State Park

Break through to Intermediate Level Riding: Build your skills through learning or perfecting maneuvers that will help you have more fun, be stable on the trails, and increase your confidence on all terrain types. These shorter, bite-size clinics help you learn the maneuvers that lay the groundwork beyond the most basic fundamentals, so that you are prepared to learn new skills like jumping & drops or tackle new trails.

Main topic for this clinic:

  • Rollers - Absorbing them to control speed and stability and pumping them to generate speed and fun!

Rollers (the dirt humps in the trail) are great tools to learn bike control in safe terrain. They can teach us how to flow with the bike using vertical range of motion. They can also teach us a lot about “Pressure Control” - the ability to absorb or create pressure through our feet.
