We’re headed back to Blacksburg Virginia for a full weekend of skills clinics at the new Brush Mountain Park Trail System. In partnership with the New River Land Trust, The Town of Blacksburg, and the New River Valley Bicycle Association, we’re offering subsidized, low cost clinics on a variety of topics for everyone!
Sign up for one clinic or pick and choose “tapas” style and choose a few.
Each 3 hour clinic is only $44 This weekend is sponsored and subsidized by the New River Land Trust, the Town of Blacksburg, and the New River Valley Bicycle Association to keep the cost less than a 1/3 of normal pricing.

Saturday June 13th
9:00am FUNdamental Building Blocks Gain control and confidence on the trail. This clinic is targeted for beginners who are looking to level up their bike control, feel more confident, and tackle more terrain safely. Get started with intentional skill application!
9:00am Intro to Jumping Great for anyone just starting to get their tires off the ground or those wanting to progress their jumping skills, this intro to jumping clinic is designed to teach you the skills needed to evaluate the size and shape of any jump and understand how to tweak your skill application based on your speed.
1:30pm Youth Intro to Air For 10-15 year olds who are regular mountain bikers wanting to learn or refine air skills for jumps and drops.
1:30pm Women’s Gravity Clinic For riders wanting to tackle more difficult technical downhill terrain with more control and confidence. Let’s take your riding to the next level for tech trails!
Sunday June 14th
9:00am Women’s Intro to Jumping Great for riders just starting to get their tires off the ground or those wanting to progress their jumping skills, this intro to jumping clinic is designed to teach you the skills needed to evaluate the size and shape of any jump and understand how to tweak your skill application based on your speed.
9:00am Technical Climbing Do you wish you could stay on your bike more when climbing up technical trails over roots and rocks? This clinic will focus on the subtle body movements and strategies to tackle any obstacle on your climb.
1:30pm Intermediate / Advanced Jumping If you are already clearing basic table-top jumps with confidence and want to work on precision for different shape ramps/lips or want to start to adding some movement / style / tricks to your jumping, join us for this clinic to help you jump better!
1:30pm Intermediate / Advanced Cornering Do you get hung up, lose speed, or lose control in corners, especially berms? Maybe you’d like to figure out how to carry more exit speed? This clinic takes a deep dive into the skills needed for berms, flat corners, and even off-camber turns.

We keep our group sizes small with a max of 6 in each group. Rather than run a group of 12 with 2 instructors, we'll split into 2 smaller groups when numbers for a clinic exceed 5 or 6.
