Join a Group Ride

In support of Pisgah Area SORBA, we’ll be organizing all the group rides at the WNC Bike Fest.

The Second Annual WNC Bike Fest is rolling back into town on Saturday, May 16th at Ecusta Brewing! This free, family-friendly festival brings together cycling enthusiasts from across WNC for a day of connection, celebration, and giving back to the trails.

Whether you're taking part in a guided group ride, trying a demo bike, enjoying the live music, winning at the raffle, cheering on our youth in the kid’s skills park, or connecting with our outdoor vendors, it's bound to be a good time!

Stick around on Sunday for the inaugural Pisgah All Mountain Challenge!

Meeting Location:
Ecusta Brewing
451 Ecusta Rd Suite B, Brevard, NC 28712

Pre-Register Here (coming soon)

    • There will be lots of rides to choose from with different distances and difficulties.

    • There will be one gravel bike option (not a good “easier” ride for beginner mountain bikers)

    • All routes require basic experience riding mountain bikes on single track trails with obstacles

    • Some routes will be appropriate for the experienced beginner

    • Some routes will be appropriate for more intermediate to advanced level riders.

  • Local bike shops and businesses will be hosting and leading these rides. On the event page, you can view who the ride host will be.

MTB Skills Factory is just organizing the start of the rides and getting people going in the right direction.

    • This is a small group clinic with a maximum of 6 people.

    • We’ll start with an intro to listen to your previous experience and goals, then set expectations and a plan for the clinic

    • Then, we’ll move into a skills assessment and move through the essential pre-requisite skills most likely in an open area.

    • Then we’ll take it to individual features in the skills area or on trail at Kanuga

    • We’ll aim for plenty of practice time and lots of individual feedback and analysis

  • FREE however pre-registration is required to reserve you spot.

  • Required for this lesson:
